Wood quality care
All the way from round timber selection, through wood processing and stocking, to delivery of products to our final customer - we devote the highest care to this complex process in order to assure a high quality of our products and maximum customer satisfaction.
Selection of wood as a base material
Our experienced and specialized staff selects in person the round timber at a log dispatch place. We always know in advance what technology will be applied to process the wood and that is why we can select the highest quality possible for the particular technological process.
Spruce logs for manufacturing wood for sound boards is selected and purchased especially in the winter season, when it is the less susceptible to wood-damaging insect invasion, to wood stain or other wood defects. It is the highest quality wood from principal felling.
Processing
Primarily all the logs are processed on the gangsaw, consequently it is ready for the follow-up processing.
Timber for construction is manufactured out of respective quality logs - either custom-made according to specifications given by the customer or to stock.
To manufacture lumber for joinery, planks processed on the gangsaw are imediately interlaced using piling strips so that wood stacks are ready for kiln drying. In high capacity warm air dry kilns that are situated in our premises we dry lumber of all different thicknesses to humidity of 10% (± 2%) or according to customer's requirements. Kiln dried lumber is then either a finished product - material for joinery or semifinished material for processing of planed lumber such as fencing, battens, boards and other planed wood.
To manufacture sprucewood for sound boards there is a special technology. All the way from the beginning of log processing this technology differs very much from manufacturing of timber for construction or kiln dried lumber for joinery. There is a particular part devoted to this technology - sprucewood for sound boards.
Storage
We have at our disposal sufficient indoor stockyards. That is where we store all the kiln dried lumber in order to protect it from negative influences of weather that could cause damages of wood. The large indoor as well as outdoor stockyards enable us to take a good care of finished products before they get to customers.
Delivery to customers
To customers who assure themselves the transport of wood from our sawmill we load everything up. We are well equipped for loading even large and heavy loads.
We can provide the transport of kiln dried lumber up to 6 m of length to customer's or eventually manage other transport.
